Sheila Registered Dental Hygienist
As one of our practice's hygienists, I help to educate our patients on their oral health, polish their teeth to make sure their smiles are bright, and perform any periodontal therapy and maintenance. I have been working here for 15 years, and in that time I have gotten to know many of my patients really well. I consider many of them to be more like my friends and I love catching up on their lives during appointments. Our staff is like a family and we truly care about each other. My husband's name is Paul and we have a son, Eric, and wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy working out and spending time outside riding my bike and skiing.
Joni Dental Hygienist (Retired, Sub)
I help our patients prevent oral problems and maintain their oral health through cleanings and hygiene education. After 28 years in this office, I have gotten to know many of my patients very well. I love interacting with them in personal as well as professional ways. Seeing regular patients is like visiting with friends and meeting new patients is always exciting! Dr. Zwier has always been progressive when it comes to new technology, and it is great to learn something new every day. I am married with a son, two dogs, and a cat. When I have free time I enjoy cooking, gardening, and joy riding in my golf cart!
Teresa Dental Hygienist
I work at Dr. Zwier's office on Tuesdays as one of his Dental Hygienist. After graduating from Hygiene school in 2007, I accepted a job in Zurich, Switzerland and worked as a full-time hygienist in a group practice on an 18-month working VISA. As a dental hygienist, I provide prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance for patients of all ages and difficulties. I enjoy getting to know my patients and providing them with up-to-date hygiene education. In December 2010, I married my best friend, Travis. In my spare time, I am either walking our black lab Cali, going for a quick run, reading a book, floating in a pool, traveling, or making long lasting memories with family and friends. I am truly blessed and love my job as a hygienist.
Kathy Front Office
I am one of the friendly faces our patients see when they come into our office. I take care of scheduling appointments and the financial aspects of our patients' care. We all want our patients to feel comfortable in our office, and I believe that starts with a warm welcome. I love the people I work with and consider them to be like my family. I have a cat named Bubba Sue and when I have free time I enjoy gardening, reading, golfing, and traveling around Michigan, especially up north.
Tiann Registered Dental Assistant
As an Registered Dental Assistant for Dr Peter Zwier, I help him chairside with performing restorative work: Crowns, root canals, fillings, and many more. One of my goals as an RDA is making your experience with us as comfortable as possible. I'm a 2010 graduate of the dental assisting program through Grand Rapids Community College. I have always had a passion for dentistry and love what I do! In my spare time I enjoy being with my other half, family and friends. I also enjoy being on the water with our jet ski's. Last but not least I would like to find myself traveling more in the years to come.
Rachael Registered Dental Assistant
As one of Dr Zwier's Assistants I greet and seat patients. I am a graduate of the GRCC Dental Assisting program. I take x-rays and assist the Doctor in clinical procedures. I also help educate patients about each procedure, what it involes and make them feel more comfortable. In my spare time I like to take my 2 year old daughter Hailey to the park or go to the movies with friends. I scrapbook and love being by the water in the summer.
Michael Office Manager
I have been visiting Dr Zwier ever since I was old enough to sing "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth." Every day there are things behind the scenes that ensure you have a great experience and its a joy to play a small part in that. I love hearing your voices and seeing your smiles whether you are a brand new patient or have been a faithful patron for many years. If you have questions regarding financial options or ways we can improve our practice I am here to help. We are "Devoted to Excellence, Serving with Compassion" and I strive to live that out in all areas of life and share that with others. I like to play sports especially basketball and golf, mentor and coach, hangout with friends and family and have a lasting impact.
